In the recklessness of youth,
Invincibilty had been my claim,
Happiness came from the ignorance,
That i could cause myself no pain.
But self inflicted wounds,
Often take an age to heal,
And as the seasons come to pass,
My invincibility, fades into the real.
I like how this is put. it gives a simple and to the point explanation of how ppl eventually snap out of their utopia...
