My son behaves like all young boys
And I don't think it's fair.
I have to buy him all new toys
When old ones need repair.
And when the toys are bought at last
And smashed upon the floor,
My gentle, young enthusiast
Will come and plead for more.
He's always breaking something new
And raising such a clamor.
I only ask that, when he's through,
He'll put back Daddy's hammer!
