Like nova cane to a broken thumb

I didn’t feel it when you touched me

And when you cut me I didn’t bleed

Since you touched me I’ve been numb

I once felt so much

And quivered at the touch

I feel like my love is all used up

Wasted on others that just sucked it all in

and left me with nothing and no feeling within

I grip on to your skin but don’t feel the face I hold

The water is so hot that it almost feels cold

Numb

Numb to the touch

Numb to the taste

Such a big heart

And so much love to waste

I once felt so much

And now I almost don’t feel at all

I wish I could fall

Just fall off a cliff

Then go to heaven where I could feel your kiss

I don’t feel it when you touch me

I dont bleed

The water is so hot that it almost feels cold

I pinch myself to awaken from this dream

But I’m not sleeping its really what it seems

I am numb

A wounded heart that once did feel

A wounded heart thats yet to heal

To ease the pain

I feed my heart nova cane

I make myself numb

A needle to my thumb

I don’t bleed

Numb

Millions of feelings I can’t even count

I used to feel them all

almost to an unbearable amount

but now

I only feel one

because my heart only feels numb.
