I walk into your home

Where you so often stand alone

I step in side the door

Its not familiar anymore

I forgot my way around

Your laugh

Wow how could I forget that sound?

Pictures hang upon your walls

Of other friends who have walked among your path

And old memories you decided to bring back

There are no longer pictures of me

As far as I can see

Please continue to replace me

Cover up the trails I left

Hoping you would follow them

Retrace my steps

Take your mind back to where we were

Nothing could astir

The friendship we created

But as time went on those feelings were confiscated

Struck by something unpredictable

And I became replaceable

Replace me my friend

Push me aside

but my feelings will not bend

I’ll stick by your side

Though it may never be the same

For you Id give my life

And my love for you, from my heart

Will never change.
