waterfall cliche

...and every good metaphor deals with water

i could drown in the depth of your smile

if i could just kiss one corner

i'd cry

i could cry a river for you to sail

your way into my heart

because i want to be in love with you

no matter what storms come our way

i'd ride all the waves till life

is smooth sailing for us

so jump in my boat

and we can plunge deep into

...a love affair

   ...a cliche

      ...some water



let's go swimming.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

the title comes from the fact that it sounds kinda like "wonderful cliche" and that makes me smile. this poem was for my humorous benefit... i make me laugh. so there. also i think the term love affair sounds nice. word. i'm out.

I love it. The only thing I don't like is the last line. Eh. But everything else is simply beautiful.
