in the morning we'll be alright

cause we've got the Man right by our side

and we pray, forgetting about all the pain and hurt

just wishing out lives carried a story

we've all got a story

we just don't know how to write

and He's got the dictionary

let's look into it tonight

and we'll still be growing up

when the last curtain falls

cause that's momentum baby

and it never stalls

and we'll cross lines

that we never want to cross

and while we cross them

never stop to think about how that line feels

it's doing a job

and we are walking right past

and it can jump up and stop you

that's where He steps in

we'll call Him, the voice of the lines

and we'll pray for forgiveness

but tomorrow

we'll be up against that line again

will we remember the voice

or choose to forget and cross away

and someday

we're going to learn

about why our heat beats even faster

when we make the right decision

so, risking it all

that's a thrill

but getting it right

that's momentum baby

thrills stop

but momentum keeps on chugging along

cause we're growing up...

one heartbeat at a time

and God's standing by us

telling us when to breathe

you'd breathe for Him

cause without Him

you, cant...

and that's momentum

and baby, momentum is going strong...
