love

All you need is love

You care not what people around you crave

You're blind to their pain

their hunger

their wanting

for love

You say you know love

but you never will

for you can't love without

first loving yourself

and if you loved yourself

you wouldn't always be

wanting, craving, needing

love

If you loved me, you wouldn't

keep me locked in a cage

this I know

because when I didn't love myself

I kept myself in a cage as well

always wanting, craving, and needing

love

But I don't need it now

for I've learned that love comes not

from someone else

it's deep within

it's true acceptance

it comes not from what another sees of you

but what you see of yourself

and when you achieve this

that's when love falls

into place

and wanting, craving, and needing

is all in your heart
