The smell of fresh bread fills the large room
Time is passing by much too soon
We sit and remember our childhood years
Sipping our tea we laugh at old fears
In high school we made such fools of ourselves
You and I were best friends, more so than with anyone else
Time stands still for only a moment as I notice the dusty fixtures
The chairs and tables are wobbly, may are old- there’s a mixture
We wonder how time has flow so fast
The candle stars to fade- releasing its last breath
Pretty soon we’ll have to go our separate ways
But our memories here will continue to stay
It’s time to leave, tears fill our eyes
We’ll meet up again, this isn’t our last goodbye
