Why is it that

I only feel this way for you

My mind is on you constantly

And I listen to my heart

Because I believe what it says

Is true



I've only felt this way for you

No one else

Makes me feel

Like you do



You put a smile on my face

A smile that never goes away

And I thank you

For making me feel this way



You’re the one that

Makes me feel so good

The one that understands

The one who knows?

Exactly who I am



And I thank you

For being who you are

For being the light

When all I saw was the dark



And you are the one that

Found me

If it wasn't for that day

We might not even be



And I thank you

For just being you

Not anyone else

But just being true
