We think of you throughout
This very special day.
Your parents remember
The happiest moment.
The day you were born
And how much it meant.
Your friends remember
The good times ya'll've had
Throughout the years
Both good and bad.
What I remember
Is very unclear
Cuz I've only known you
For maybe a year.
But what I do recall
I recall very well
Cuz you're special to me.
I hope you can tell.
I can honestly say
I have no regrets
About our relationship
Since the day we met.
I'm happy to know you
And have you as a friend.
