Will never forget that dreadful day.
Hearts were broken, tears were shed
When Jerimy passed away.
Now we face another tragedy.
Our hearts will never mend.
The death of Thomas Homra,
Jerimy's best friend.
Tom was in an accident.
He was severely burned.
They never thought he'd make it
But then the tables turned.
When he lived through the first two times,
We just knew he'd be all right.
The third time he was critical
We knew that he would fight.
When I found out that he could die,
Someone said to me,
"No need to worry, third time's a charm."
Oh, how wrong that could be!!
But Tom died that fateful night,
When no one thought he would.
Jerimy came and got him,
When no one thought he could.
Now Tom is in a better place.
He's with his bestest friend.
We must grieve for just a while,
But then our hearts must mend.
