At many moments, I was extremely frail,
Thinking that I technically failed,
Being hit with a rigid nail,
Leading me to feel pale.
They say that men don’t cry,
But that is definitely a lie,
As tears came while being high,
Feeling like I wanted to die.
I had to change my way,
Or forever live in dismay,
So I fought each day,
Hoping the pain would go away.
After fighting a brutal war,
I have finally opened the door,
Achieved everything I have fought for,
And my happiness is truly pure.
