What can you know, without every saying a word,
What can you win without risking being hurt,
You won't get anywhere if you're afraid of a little dirt,
Everything is worth doing, even if it takes some work,
So when you're thinking of giving up, stop and wonder,
How can you be on top if you don't come out from under,
Like the lightning crashes and the rolling of the thunder,
It has always taken one thing to get to the other,
We would be nothing if we didn't learn from the blunder,
The worst of mistakes can leave us feeling plundered,
Yet if we realize where we went wrong, we'll treasure,
Internal revelation is something you cannot measure,
So take one more breath just when you think you've died,
And when it's said and done you can always say you tried...
