When autum leaves come tumbling down
and kiss you on the cheek
and blue birds in the treetops
sing in muted tones so meek
when breezes blow a little brisker
and the sun shines not so high
and the moon gives off it's golden glow
from way up in the sky
Well the days are getting shorter
and there's frost out in the air
and the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch
are ripe and golden fair
Then hearts beat a little faster
and every voice has a song
and you walk together holding hands
and friendships grow more strong
There's mullet jumping in the Gulf
in schools so fat and fine
I can almost smell them frying now
cause it's mullet eating time
The fire place is set to go
lights shimmers soft and low
and pine logs burn so evenly
and give off a golden glow
Out in the meadow on the hill
all hidden, are the flowers
and they'll rest their buds there for a time
till days bring on Spring showers
But no matter tho, what time of year
be it Spring or crispy Fall
let the heaven's send down a symphony
to play for one and all
