When I am with you, I can climb great lofty mountains
when I'm with you, I can sail great rolling seas
you give me strength to conquor all I come to
you give me courage to be all that I can be
When you're with me, I revel in your shadow
when you smile, you pierce my very soul
when times are rough, I long to be there with you
for you'll keep me safe till I am grey and old
You are my refuge in times of storm tossed sorrow
you keep me warm when I am sad and cold
your arms like steel bars close around me
you hold me close and transfer me to your mold
I cam see your face there in the raindrops
as you hold out your loving arms to me
you keep me strong in times of greatest turmoil
you give me love to be all that I can be
You found me lost and took me to your bosom
you gave me hope that I could be set free
you sat me down upon the rightful pathway
you gave me grace and heard my humble plea
You shook me loose from trails that let to nowhere
you took my fear and flung it far from me
you held me up in highest admiration
and you steer my life to be all that I can be
