Do up all the supper dishes

give the kids a bath

go gather some tomatoes

from the garden down the path

Make a call to Momma

see how her day has gone

give the cat a bowl of milk

as you seek a happy song

Put a load of washing on

fold the clothes already dry

write out a check for fifty bucks

for things you need to buy

Straighten up the sofa

vacuum all the floor

wipe the hand prints off the glass

that's on the outside door

Lay out clean clothes for hubby

and pack his mid day lunch

run the stray dog off the lawn

and make a snack for brunch

Get clean pajamas for the kids

and put them all to bed

read a story, say a prayer

make sure the bird is fed

Take the garbage to the can

dust off the old TV

set out the cereal bowls for breakfast

get a glass of sweet ice tea

Turn down the sheets and bed spread

fluff the pillows on the bed

turn the shower on to warm

get shampoo for your head

Snuggle down beneith the covers

turn out all the lights

kiss your hubby on the cheek

and say your prayers for night
