Fuzzy peaches round and ripe
out in Grand Pa's field
so I looked to see if Grand Ma watched
before a peach, I'd steal
and so it seemed I was all alone
and oh, they looked so good
so I picked a peach from off the tree
just because I could
I know t'was not the thing to do
I had not ask for one
but I thought I'd get away with it
because it was such fun
Oh it was the bestest thing
of this I will allow
But 'round the barn came Grand Pa then
behind the horse and plow
and he looked at me a if to say
what do have there, Son
did Grand Ma say you could have a peach
before our supper's done
and as he looked at me so kind
I hung my head in shame
for now that peach that was so good
just did not taste the same
Now I'm in the dog house
i've been grounded for a week
my bottoms sore, my britches tore
and I'm crying as we speak
So let me give you some sound advise
if you don't want to feel the stick
just keep your hands in pockets deep
if you see fruit, not your's to pick
