I remember when we first met
Those angel eyes which looked at me
So full of complete innocence
So full of glee.
Brilliantly shaped by the hands of God
Perfectly shaped for that gorgeous face.
The perfect distance apart
And utterly set in the right place.
Gorgeous eyes which I had never seen
Without a single hint of evil.
Envied by all those who set their eyes on yours
Even by himself, the devil.
You meant so much to me from that moment on
I knowing you were the spark of innocence in my life
You were an impeccable child back then
But soon for the fruits of knowledge and evil you would strive.
What happened to you?
Why did you walk down the wrong passage?
Did you not hear me calling?
Did you not get my supplicating message?
To the wickedness of drugs you did turn
Leaving me with nothing but a scar.
My one spark of hope was now gone...
Gone where I could not reach you, gone very far.
There was nothing I could do to save you.
At least that is what I prefer to think.
Your LIFE BOAT had been too contaminated and beyond repair
To the bottom of the ocean it would inevitably sink...
Now you have departed from this world
And another journey you must take.
I dont know where it will lead you
But make no mistake:
You were the most precious jewel in my life
But you paid the ultimate price for taking the wrong path.
FALLEN ANGEL are the words I sorrowfully read
Inscribed now on your tomb as your epitaph...
I WISH I WROTE THIS PIECE
Hey Karen,
This poem is really sad it almost made me cry. But I've red another poem called Fallen Angel Written by Liseth Romero.
