God's Decision
God decided that it was your time to rest.
In your absence we are doing our best.
We're trying to be strong and to understand.
Why God took you from us and put your life into His hand.
He took you in your sleep while you were dreaming.
No pain did you feel while we were screaming.
The news was so dreadful, so horrid, so sad.
In shock we remain, yet amazingly glad.
We're glad we knew you, such a great man indeed.
Who loved his family and dogs so dear, who helped out when in need.
You will truly be missed and loved ever more.
We will see you again when Heaven comes knocking on our door.
