You roared like a lion
And frighten everybody like lightening
Yet you talked of a kingdom to come
A kingdom of freedom and justice
But terror is your rule

Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
And lead us not into dictatorship
For the power and glory is yours

You are a preacher by day time
And a Saul at night
But the Paul in you never came out
For the mention of your name is a reason to hide

Thy kingdom come
And lead us into more evil
As you don`t forgive those who trespass against you
For ever and ever
People will always be afraid to speak their minds

Thy kingdom come
Thy people will run into refuge
For you will deliver them into jail
