And all these years
I thought I
Was the big guy
In your head
Are things that dwarf me
And all these years
I thought I
Was the tough one
I think the words
That you say with ease
And all these years
I thought I
Could find peace in the past
I now know you can only
Read a book the first time once
And all these years
You were the little brother
Now?
You don't seem so little
It's amazing how one keeps younger siblings always young..forgetting that as we grow up, they are doing so also..as well as growing wiser through their own experiences. This is a beautifully written tribute to a brother. I wish I could borrow upon it, but I have 2 mutant older brothers who still are rotten buggers. (Ok, ok, so I love 'em, but that will NEVER hold up in a court of Canadian law) lol.
