Cover and hide, protect and divide
A sense of comfort I provide
I see scandals that no one tells
But still I lay and float, stranded
I wince and writhe as you commit prideful unions
Follow with sighs when you heave halcyon breaths
I’m sought after and needed, but only at times
My only freedom is in bunching, scrunching
to sides; two sides like a janus face
One beckons you to come lay and dream
The other hides your prides and downfalls
