time keeps ticking
and i keep wishing
i could go back
to relive the past
knowing it wouldnt last
minutes turn to hours
as my heart turns sour
feeling this moment slip away
with this mornful display
theres nothing else i can really say
scared for this new begining
to take this leap of faith
starting in this new place
memories i now must face
consuming my every thought
hopeless, i got caught
taking my every breath
until my very death
i want to feel you hold me tight
telling me its going to be alright
letting these feelings take over the night
only thinking of you
unsure of what to do
to risk it
then miss it
afraid to be hurt once more
considering my heart is so sore
i want to let you in
but im confused of where to begin
these walls to protect me
they only can hold for so long
crumbling, they arent that strong
i just want to be free
but i know its because what you've done to me...
