Empty and alone,

I feel void.

All I want is to be loved.

Our moment has come and gone,

it has passed...

I no longer hold that place in your heart.

I am numb.

I won't beg for it.

I won't wonder what I did wrong,

or what I could have done differently.

I will not reminisce.

I will not look back.

I will accept the love that you once gave.

I will evolve.

I will change

I will embrace the quiet night and the strange new day.
