Somewhere along the way
Reality reached down
With a not so gentle hand,
Picked me up by my ass,
Slammed me against the wall screaming,
“Okay kid; show me where it’s at now.”
A thousand hells later,
Staring at the fireball monster
Wiping the sweat off my brow
I wondered if there really was an America
Vague and anonymous across the sea
Or if it was only the figment
Of someone’s bent imagination.
Vague and anonymous across the sea
Delightful iris beats the tandem fedeuciary of state benefits
Thank you for your observation.
It was about me as a kid in the Vietnamese war.
