My dear friend lovethatred recently lost her daughter, she is stuggling with how to cope with it. I'm far from a poet but I still have words in my heart.
My condolences to your friend at the loss of her daughter. This is all so unfair for her, your friend. As her friend you can only do what is humane and be there for her when she is going through the different stages of grief.

It is not what we do while we are here, or what we do not do..it is about how we rise from adversity and heartache that will benefit our time here.

Loss is unforgettable.
P.s: May she find the silver lining.
