the night waves

silently above the trees

my spirit lay

heavy upon the Rock that feeds

the night screams

“hurry before you’ll lose your spot”

but i’ll rest

knowing this life isn’t all we’ve got



stand by streetlights

your going to burn out tonight

because with a new heaven and new heights

the sky will burn out your light

let go, let go

this is not your home

this is not our home

we are meant to burn in the sky



cry hard

and remember you aren’t alone

reach far

and know a star will guide you home

for we are

preparing for a greater place

and this life

is given from a hand of grace

falling, i’m falling

to earth my heart a shadow fell

but it beats it yearns for me to tell

falling stars up in the sky

we came down to testify

to bring the Word of glory here

in hope that all won’t disappear

even though it’s dark inside

there is no place Your light can hide

burning, we’re burning

burning spirits can’t be contained

we are born and given all new names

in His heart we’re held all dear

in reverence we call His name with fear
