The sun glares burst out on my skin
The warmth makes me feel uneasy
The beam of light rests on my arm, singeing my hairs
Sweat drips down rapidly like a stream
Creating a puddle on the floor, rippling
Eyes blood shot, searching for shade
My fingers clench into fists
Knucles white, face red
I'm hot and restless
Burnt from head to toe
But I stay there still
Searching for escape
Hoping the shade will come soon
To wipe the sweat off my brow
