My body, descending into immersion, broke the water, as His,

descending from the Cross into my deserved death broke it;

then I was raised from the water that could not hold me,

because Death and the Grave could not deter, or even defer, His

Resurrection; and as I am made conformable to His Death, my own

well deserved death becomes

shatterable by His Glorious, Salvific, and Triumphant

                                                                                          Resurrection.
