One on a cross with that man on his cross; the other at his tomb, the first
to visit: who were they?---a common thief; and a woman once possessed
by demons. They are uncompliant trash, who we deem spiritually cursed.
How possibly can they, whom we righteous consider the very worst
of this world, be considered redeemed, and numbered among God's best?
How can those who were born sinners, who have lived entirely immersed
in perfidy be considered converted and, in God's mercy, blessed?
