toward those who follow "Christianity"

(as some lawyers have called it recently):

remove this young man's name from your long list.

Judge's order:  set him at liberty,

exempted from the raw perversity

that tortures prisoners here so eagerly

and with professional efficiency.

To these, would you subject this gorgeous boy?

You will not.  And this court's order will put

him out of your reach.  No one will deploy,

against his body, scourge, or brand, or fist;

his beauty---long-haired, slender and barefoot---

will not again be placed in jeopardy.
