I add two more names to this length list

of noxious pests crushed by Rome's mighty fist:

they shall not be remembered very long;

fools who thought to assault Rome's majesty

(the Pax Romana---our greatest tradition---

by which we shall govern and rule the earth).

Those who believe words, or acts, of sedition

can stymie Rome will always be proved wrong,

with death imposed on their stupidity:

for Rome's vengeance ought, always, to be dreaded.

Whether of Roman blood, or foreign birth

each of them is a damned fool---one and all---

Two more to death today:  Simon and Saul,

one shall be crucified, and one beheaded.
