Author's Notes/Comments:

This I think is the answer to the Stupids'---the Levelers'---and the Lowest Common Denominators' attack upon a poetry adorned with cultural/historical/artistic reference allusion, or based upon the precedents of the Western Canon:  it compels those sorts of readers to face and to admit their own limitations and their lack of couth; the way a child's good grades may be disparaged by less successful peers, whom we might call either Failers or Degraders.
