I thought I was gaining strength
Every boulder measured my length,
But my will hardened when tested.
Our world has no soul so rested
And so I found my steel was bested;
Once hard metal without any end,
I learned my metal was to flow.
The earth commands my river bend
And shows me that I don't know.
I thought I was no longer fickle;
Our world was merely testing my glow,
My form merely running its cycle.
