I know as a fact that would be something
I would regret.
Because you have helped me
So incredibly much, you took me out of the dark skies
And made me happy.
If I didn't have you
Who would I talk to late at night when I'm upset
Or feeling blue?
Who would I ask for
Advice or opinions, you're the greatest friend
Someone can have and even more.
You showed me love
And what a true friend is about
And how friendship is a gift sent from above.
You were always there for me
When I needed you
And you let all my fears and troubles free.
So I can't thank you enough
For being there for me and helping me through
The times that were rough
Also for being the best friend that you are
You are always close in my heart
Even though you live so far.
I'm blessed to have such a great friend
And I'll always be there for you just like you were for me
