IF I Should Die



If i should die,

Give my eyes to another,

So i can continue to see the beauty of the world.



Give my nose to another,

So i can continue to smell the dew on the ground,

The smell of freshly picked flowers,

And the unforgetting scent of someone that's loved.



Give my ears to another,

So i can continue to hear the birds chirping,

The waves of the ocean lapping on the shore,

And the voice of someone so soft and sweet.



Give my mouth to another,

So i can continue to to taste freshly picked fruit,

Contine to share a kind word,

And continue to taste your lips pressing mine.



Give my hands to another,

So i can continue to feel,

The breeze that flows through,

And caress the face of a love so true.



Give my legs to another,

So i can continue to feel,

The ground beneath my feet,

So i can climb the highest mountain,

And carry another back home.



If i should die,

Give my heart to another,

So i will feel what those eyes have seen.

So i can savor the smells of the earth.

So i'll be touched by what my mouth has said.

So my heart will continue to jump,

At the feel of your closeness.

So my heart will beat as another races the world.

And so i'll continue,

To know what made life worth living.
