Someone once told me
that diamonds are found quietly,
while cheap glass catches attention immediately.
I didn't understand that then.
Back then, I thought being genuine would automatically make people stay.
I thought honesty would be recognized without having to fight for it.
But life introduced me to people
who knew how to pertorm kindness better than
they knew how to practice it.
And strangely,
the loudest hearts in the room
were often the emptiest.
Meanwhile, the most sincere people
I knew kept questioning whether
they were too much or not enough.
That's the tragedy of this world-real souls
tend to speak softly, while false ones master
the art of being admired.
