Too Late
So fragile a heart seems
As you are breaking it,
Almost as if your heart too
Is breaking.
Nauseous, you turn your back
Telling yourself it's for the better
Trembling you try to hold back the tears
Feeling at any moment
You might collapse
From the pain that grows inside
You tell yourself things will change
That it's better off this way
But it feels as though your dying inside
With each step your heart crumbles
You cant take it anymore
The pain is so intense
You turn to run back
But your all alone
No one is around to comfort you
To hold you in their arms
As you beg for forgiveness
Realizing you were wrong
It's too late.
