You say you understand me

And why I do the things i do

You say I'm afraid to get hurt

And I know that it's true

you say you can relate to me

And that you know what we could be

I just need to open my eyes to take a look and see.

I know you like me and I like you to

But you don't know I'm afraid to lose you

I'm afraid that I'll get hurt once more

And I don't need the pain like I had it before

I know you'd never hurt me

I know you'd never dare

but I know now that life just isn't fair

and to lose you I couldn't bare
