I look in questioningly
What do I see?
Two pale blue eyes stare back at me
Far from a button nose sitting on a face
A pair of pink lips freshly moistened in the right place
I see a chin and two rosy cheeks
And a heart that silently speaks
I look down the body so slim yet so right
Down past a slender stomach
Not quite tight
To a pair of long legs that stand up tall
And two feet that the body steady so it wont happen to fall
I look at the clothes, so comfy and neat
I blink once or twice, then look back to the eyes
The spirit inside so gracefully, happily flies
I smile to myself liking what I see
For the person I am looking at happens to be me
I look at myself in the mirror
And I see me so much clearer
For it does not matter what others say
For it is only me in the look I portray
