Another Day I wish for the rain
so I can see your silhouette
under a gray sky
the fog of the morning
enveloping you
only seeing your hands
stretched toward the heavens
they open for you
the mist falling onto you
even as dark clouds sweep in
sneaking full overhead
all I can see is your light
each drop cold on the skin
I just want to be next to you
warmth overflowing inside me
Feeling like an outsider
but knowing you belong to me
