In the perfect moments

your arms are around me

eyes staring into me

or cheek pressed to shoulder

your head rested on mine

skin so close

worries so far

perfect moments will never pass us by

at least thats the way it feels to me

as fingers are intertwined

foot to ankle

breathing softly

as you sleep

I fee your dreams fall around me

whispering to you in the dark

not caring if you hear or not

saying them is what matters

as long as I feel them with my heart

happy as long as you hold me

begging you not to let me go

even when you have to

the perfect moments never leave
