Can you handle the night?

The mass of the stars?

the moons shining white light?

The sounds you hear

so deep in the dark

do they cause you fear?

Do they tear at your heart?

or do they make you fly

do you become part

of the air all around you

touching your skin

or do nightmares come true

are you letting them in?

is there screaming inside your head

well theres nothing to fear

your imagination is being fed

you let this all take hold

in the peace of the nightime

your shivering cold

when you should be accepting

night and day are the same

the daylight birds that sing

are only at rest

in the dawn of the day

they will continue their nests

the light from the sun

will be back too

its course it will run

the moon will shine once more

you'll be ready to fight

the same dark time war

but the night holds the same beauty

you only need to open your eyes

and then you will be able to see

that both day and night

make up the world

both are mysterious sights

you cant have only one

you get the shining moon

and the glowing sun

and that wont change anytime soon
