I looked deep into your eyes tonight

I found you'd finally come home 

Just when i needed you most.

My soul was dancing in your arms 

i missed you so much 

there's a difference in your touch.

theres a warmth to your voice 

conviction in your words.

i knew you were the one after so, so, long,

i put every wish and every hope 

in our connection 

I waded through the depths of despair 

wore the baptism of fire like badge 

because I knew through it all you'd be there 

and even though I thought you weren't 

and my calls went away hollow 

There you were.
