"The beautiful moon
and her two tyrants of love
pulled by one and reaching for the other
one refuses to let her go
and the other burn hers so."
the light of her eyes transfused,
bled out till just her bare shell remained.
her sadness and longing had sprawled out
as twinkles in the universe stretching far and wide
capturing glints of him reflecked in their sad born glassy baubles.
ever propelled by their creation into a somber drift
towards the one that won't come as a token of hope
and the other that won't let go as token of forgiveness.
It seemed like aeons ago in the early ness of her awakening
that the cool breeze and ease of his luscious looks once brought her joy.
but, when the first light caught her eyes, her sadness fell.
endlessly teased by the beauty of such a magnificently beautiful entity made her glow with delight!
But she was alas possesively harboured by another that insisted on hiding her light.
Though both left her each day and would always return
While one was too busy shaping himself to his vision for her
she grew more lonely and tired of her false refections.
She wanted to speak truth and jump into another's warm joy!
there always rose a infinite hope in her heart
as his mane of glory broke over her darkness
and as his gaze fell upon her, within in a warm glows reach;
it filled her heart with his mildness.
She fought sliver, by sliver to capture the bright ones eyes saving every glimmer,
and though it is a wrestle of love, pulling tears from the other's shores, she was only ever half alight.
for loyalty and devotion is a two headed tyrant
one was there first, and led her into a rhythm of love
and she knew she needed his direction and charmed by the way so fiercely he fought for her attention
But light is a different entity and it both filled her and renewed her,
she saw truth with beauty even in pain and though he never travelled too far,
He had a life beyond the stars.
both knew with all the craving the world they could never be,
as he lavished his attentions on so many others the skies
filled with endless sombre crystals catching his light,
always sparkling, never staying bright.
but his magnificence was never so harsh as to deny her love.
She was too perfectly mesmerising and though delicate and small,
her opinions of him made him sprawl out brighter.
Sadly, never a match as he would engulf her in an instant.
He could not live without knowing she still loved all his wickedness and beauty
so to keep her where he knew he'd find her, he painted the other for her
Hoping to distract her with colours, and let her ocean of tears reflect him at night.
and still she only ever wants the surety of her destruction
enveloped by the white of his burning light.
" and still she only ever
" and still she only ever wants the surety of her destruction
enveloped by the white of his burning light."
if this is a draft, it is a well written draft! These lines captured me... So often true of passionate attraction. Much enjoyed.
