The pain seering through my soul
Rocked me to the core
The shattering vibrations enough
to mar this life into the next.
The screaming heard by the stars
And the galaxies far beyond,
And yet, you hear nothing...
You don't stop.
The warning ignored
You're the one who must be heeded
But your countenance I've never needed
My own wears me out enough
The faking is all aching
And the prize is more dirt
Your love is too sharp for me
It's a holy war entangled with lies and truth
The goal is never clear,
But I breathe easier with out you near
Those liquid moments
Bursting into puddles of joy
Are too fake and a far between of what few
Don't look at me like this is something new
You've already gone a thousand 'sorry's!' too far.
