Soulight Sonnet

How I aspire to touch my soul's desire
spirits do soar hights in travels at night
a burning, longing light of golden fire
Wings of love having often taken flight

Death would bring a sweetness unimagined
to sleep the endless sleep perchance to live!
what no unholy force could have fashioned
'tis what no mortal life could ever give

the unnoble interference must twist its knife
oh the blade could give the sweetest cut
upon the edge of this love I lay my life
if it weren't for a cruel fate it may but...

We must live out this mortal life apart
as you have nothing but ice in your heart

as you have nothing but ice in your heart"
