How do I do that?
I'm just a pathetic mess!
I can't take criticism
And others opinions hurt
Everything is hard for me
I have a million excuses
And twice as many tears
Bullyied and tomented
all these years
Oh dear! What can I do?
I am totally held captive
by my fears!
Well my dear,
I know what you can do!
You can take a dose of
cure your ills
Now there's this little pill
that toughens you up a treat
When you take it
you don't care what people think
And your problems begin
to shrink without a shrink
Open wide and drop it in
that little concrete pill
And watch your self harden up
And start to wonder whatever was up
Don't be stupid its not a placebo pill
Its imaginary, its about imposing your will,
And finally using your brain to think!
There's no jerk on this earth
That's better than you
No matter what you think
You always have two choices
Every time you hear something true
That might offend you in a blink
you can change it
Or take a friken concrete pill
and harden the heck up!

I vote feel the fear and do it anyhow, let those stupid concrete pills harden someone else's heart and writing and keep you just as wonderful and soft as you are :)

Don't worry, they only harden your resolve making people more resillient bad things happen they don't have to continue being a part of us. I think so much more would be achieved if we could just strike the right balance between compassion cottonwool and resilliency and encouragement no risk no reward no moving on no growth... It's eat more complicated of course but all I have is my phone and it makes me look like a Dick with auto correct so I can't spend as much time on the subject. :s HugSS
