Woven together the bits fell into the stream traveling with a momentum no longer its own
The vision is dire as it travels the stream turns to scarlet
And death follows lapping first at the banks then all animal and man who drinks from it.
It spreads like cancer devouring the ignorant
The mighty sea is powerless as it infuses itself
Water the lock of all lands entraps us all
Even the rain is acid
The stars called out its beginning
The time has come
And of those who fall have but one hope
One brilliant light.
And still they ignore it.
lovely, i think my favorite
lovely, i think my favorite part is about how the water locks all land... it makes me think of the first explorers who likely travelled the globe thinking the same thing.
