                         CHRISTMAS DAY

        When asked to explain Christmas

        What else could I say

        But to tell the story

        Of that wonderful day

       Three wise men following a star

       Were led to a stable in a land afar

       Where in a manger a baby lay

       Surrounded by light as bright as day

      The newborn king had arrived you see

      To save the world from people like me

      And so it is that Christmas Day

      Can’t be explained in any other way

      The gifts of the magi were meant to be

      A symbol of love for all to see

      So on this wonderful winter day

      The spirit of Christmas is here to stay
